On Monday 21st the UK proposal for certification of slaughter and bleeding of farmed game was finally discussed at a EU Commission Working Group. The Commission concluded that based on the level of support they will take this proposal forward Carolynne Ellis-Jones reports.

Please find information about the 7th International Deer Biology Conference i Chile August 1st - 6th 2010 here. The last conference was in Prague, and it was sponsored by FEDFA. It would be great if some European deer farmers could make it this time as well John Fletcher says!
